After graduating from The University of Virginia's Darden School with an MBA, Bill worked in marketing research for the following companies and in the following roles:

  • IBM - systems engineering
  • Kellogg's - breakfast categories
  • Reynolds' Consumer Products - household kitchen products
  • Coca-Cola - management of key global strategies, advertising testing, beverage data suppliers, marketing mix models, and other multi-country projects
  • Coca-Cola - Senior Consumer Insights Manager, McDonald's Division
  • Coca-Cola  & Nestea - Director of Strategic Planning and Insights for Beverage Partners Worldwide, research with market managers to develop new brand positioning for Nestea and related products

Bill's projects have covered a wide range of areas including market segmentation studies, new product development, sources of growth modeling, focus group competitive analysis, controlled store tests, advertising and merchandising testing and tracking, research designs and processes, and complex customer and supplier relationships.
